The central government released a new guideline for Lockdown 2.0. This rebate will be applicable from April 20. During this time, the standards of social distancing will also be strictly followed. The Government of India has issued new guidelines for the extended period of lockdown till 3 May.

While issuing new guidelines, the Home Ministry on Wednesday said that the work related to important financial services like banks, insurance will continue as before. Along with this, the central government has given approval to operate the e-commerce companies, the vehicles used by them with the necessary permission.
In the financial sector, RBI, branches of banks, ATMs, ID sector connected to them, cash management agencies, agencies providing them security, regulatory entities like SEBI and IRDA will also be able to operate by following social distance and other guidelines.

The ministry also said that digital economy is important for national growth along with service sector. In this context, e-commerce companies, IT and its related operations, data related to government activities and call centers and online study-teaching etc. will also be exempted. Apart from this, information and technology and related service provider company has been allowed to open with 50 per cent employees.
