Wednesday was once again a relief for Uttarakhand in case of Corona virus infection. Today, all the samples of the investigation reports in the state are negative. Along with this, the government is considering conditional relaxation in some districts after April 20 in view of the situation arising out of lock down and corona in the state.
Couple Kishore Pant, Additional Secretary (Health) of the State Government, informed here today that the investigation report of total 90 samples came today and all these are negative. Currently, the pace of taking samples in the state has increased. 239 samples from various hospitals have been sent for examination today. He said that as per the central government guidelines, the lock-down in the state has been extended till May 3. A similar situation will remain in all the districts of the state till April 20. After that some districts will get light concessions
Pant said that there are 7 districts in the state, where not a single positive case of Corona has come. Therefore, these districts have been kept in green category, where exemption will be available in some cases. Similarly, there are 5 districts where corona infected patients have been found from 1 to 17, there will be some restrictions on movement in some of these districts. He clarified that since 18 corona-infected patients have been found in Dehradun, the current situation of lock-down in this district will continue. There will be no relaxation here.
According to the report released from Kovid 19 control room, all 90 samples tested in Uttarakhand today have come negative. There are 25 samples of Dehradun, Haridwar 40, Rudraprayag 3, Uttarkashi 9 and one sample each of Nainital and Pauri. Apart from these, the investigation report of 11 samples of private labs has also come negative. Today a total of 239 samples were sent from various districts of the state, including 2 from Champawat, Dehradun 28, Haridwar 98, Nainital 76, Udham Singh Nagar 21, Pauri 2 and one sample from Rudraprayag district. Apart from these, 11 samples have also been sent from private labs.
So far a total of 2413 samples have been sent for investigation in the state, out of which 2022 investigation report has come negative while a total of 354 investigation reports are still awaited. At present, 472 people are in isolation in hospitals and 53 thousand 151 people have been home quarantined and 1833 institutional quarantined. So far a total of 37 patients who have reported positive corona infection in the state, most of them are related to Tablighi Jamaat and Markaz. So far 9 corona infected patients admitted to various hospitals of the state have gone home after being discharged after getting healthy.
