The Union Home Ministry has issued revised new guidelines for all the states and union territories. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the lockdown 2.0 on Tuesday. While announcing the extension of lockdown till May 3, PM Modi said that all guidelines related to it will be issued on Wednesday.
Starting April 20, discounts on some services will begin. However, it will be up to the district administration to make these services accessible to the people. We are telling you what are the exemptions and what are the restrictions in the revised guidelines.

Lockdown 2.0 revised guidelines
There will be a discount on these services
Bank branches and ATMs, IT vendors, banking correspondents and cash management agencies will continue to work for banking operations.
Hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, dispensaries, medical stores and medical labs will remain open.
Pathology labs, pharmaceutical companies will be open.
Post offices, LPG and petrol-diesel supplies will continue.
Medical emergency and special approval will be allowed to go to another state and another district.
All activities related to farming will continue.
Farmers and agricultural laborers will be allowed to work related to farming.
Agricultural equipment and their repair shops will remain open.
The activities of manufacture and distribution of fertilizers, seeds, pesticides will continue.
Harvesting machines will be allowed to go from one state to another.
MNREGA works have been allowed with social distance and face masks.
Four-wheeler and two-wheelers have been exempted in the emergency.
All IT services will continue.
Corona research institutes will be open.
Manufacturing units manufacturing healthcare packaging materials and raw materials will be operational.
Construction of medical and health infrastructure, including ambulances, will continue.
Shops and dhabas will remain open on the highway for truck repair. The administration of the State / Union Territory will determine the minimum distance.
All those hotels, guesthouses and lodges will remain open in which people are staying due to lockdown.
Gaushalas will be open.

Services starting 20 April
E-commerce companies providing essential goods.
Grocery and ration shops selling essential goods.
Shops with fruit and vegetable carts and sanitary items.
Dairy and milk booths, shops selling poultry, meat, fish and feed.
Home delivery of all these items will be the responsibility of the district administration.

Restriction on these services will continue
Wearing masks has been made mandatory. Homemade masks, dupattas or skirts can also be used.
Instructions have been given to keep wedding ceremonies and religious places closed.
Spitting will be fined.
All educational and training institutions etc. will remain closed.
All taxi (including auto, bicycle and rickshaw) services will remain closed.
Cinema hall, mall, shopping / sports complex, gym, swimming pool, theater and bar etc. will remain closed.
Public crowds will be completely banned at all religious places.
No more than 20 persons will be allowed in case of funeral.
The ban on political and sporting events will continue.
There will be a complete ban on national and international air travel.
All public transport and metro services including buses will remain closed.
There will be a ban on moving from one district to another and from one state to another.
In four wheelers, there will be only one person apart from the driver.
Only two drivers can go on two-wheelers. Violators will be fined.
All educational institutions, coaching centers and training centers will remain closed.
