Chief Minister Shri Tirath Singh Rawat reviewed the status and vaccination of covid-19 in the state through video conferencing at the Secretariat. He directed that the process of vaccination should be started as soon as the Kovid vaccine is introduced for people between 18 years and 44 years of age. The first batch of vaccine will reach Uttarakhand today. The Chief Minister has instructed all the district officials to take strict action against the involvement of more people than the prescribed limit in various ceremonies. He said that focus should be on stopping the Kovid death. Immediately take necessary medicines for infected Kovid, for which we will have to go towards decentralized system to provide medical kit. At the meeting, Chief Secretary Shri Omprakash said that by constantly auditing the use of oxygen in hospitals, tankers should be arranged accordingly. Secretary Health Shri Amit Negi said that there is adequate availability of Remedisvir in the state, for which the entire process has been prescribed. The focus is on breaking the chain of Kovid. DGP Mr. Ashok Kumar informed that the mission has been started by the police at the police station level. In this, facilities are being provided to the needy, home delivery of medicines, oxygen cylinders, food delivery to the Kovid infected, ambulance etc. to the needy. Secretary Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey gave detailed information about Kovid and Vaccination. Information was also taken from nodal officers appointed for Kovid management. Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Manisha Panwar and senior officers of the government, Mandalayukta, District Magistrate were present in the video conferencing.
