District Magistrate Garhwal Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogande presided over the meeting organized in connection with covid-19 under the aegis of Panchayati Raj Department at Vikas Bhawan Auditorium, Pauri today and gave necessary guidelines for prevention and prevention of corona infection. He directed that public awareness should be increased at the Gram Panchayat level for prevention of Kovid-19. He said that the concerned officials should make shells at the cheap shops in the village and challan the crowded places and challan them. The District Magistrate instructed to paste the banner poster related to public awareness in the village and write the name and phone number of the concerned Gram Pradhan and Gram Panchayat Development Officer on them. He directed the ADO Panchayat to ensure formation of Village Sanitation and Nutrition Committee in Panchayats at the earliest. He also said that the funds received from state finance and central finance in gram panchayats should be spent in Kovid-19.
District Magistrate Dr. Jogande said that at the gram panchayat level, reserve two rooms of at least four to five beds in panchayat building, schools or any other place. In which female and male patients with primary symptoms can be treated separately and treated. He said that there is no need to panic in an epidemic. He directed the Panchayat Raj Officer to make kits of medicines as per guideline by the government at the panchayat level and distribute them through ANM and ASHA. So that when the initial symptoms of corona appear, no person can use those medicines and they do not have to go through an emergency. For which information about the number of beds available in the district hospital in all villages should be given. He said that there is no deficiency of oxygen or any other in the hospitals of the district. He directed the Panchayati Raj officer to nominate assistant nodal officers in each panchayat and ensure that all officers and the village head should give the phone number of the Community Health Center. He said that ADO should make a list of Panchayat villages and provide information about how many medicines, masks, sanitizers were distributed there and how many camps were set up.
Panchayati Raj officer MM Khan, BDO Kot Dinesh Prasad Badoni, ADO Panchayat Pokhara Krishna Chandra Bahuguna, ADO Panchayat Jaiharikhal Arjun Shah, Pauri Rajendra Shah, Pabau Madan Mohan and other concerned officials were present on the occasion.
