Dehradun. The Chief Secretary has directed to make Corona curfew in Dehradun, Haridwar, Udhamsingh Nagar districts by 5 am on May 10 to reduce the growing effects of coron infection in the state. Other district magistrates have been asked to take a decision according to the situation. Under this, the Corona curfew has also been extended till May 10 in Nainital and Pauri districts, while in Chamoli district it has been extended till May 9.
The order issued by the Chief Secretary states that other District Magistrates can also take further decisions depending on the situation in the district. Also, the Chief Secretary has said that no restrictions have been imposed on the inter-state and intra-state traffic. He has said that there will be no restriction in construction work, industry, heavy vehicles and other essential services. Shops of essential commodities will be open till 12 noon. At the same time the District Magistrates have been given powers that they can take a decision in view of the circumstances.
