The Indian Olympic Association has given the hosting rights of the National Winter Games to Uttarakhand. Now the winter games will be organized in Auli from January 29 to February 2. Under this, there will be competitions like Alpine Slalom, Giant Slalom, Snow Board, Nodic, Ski Mountaineering.

If the weather is favorable, the skiing players of the country will show their skills on the slopes of Auli. The Indian Olympic Association has approved the hosting rights of the National Winter Games to be held in January to Uttarakhand.

In a meeting of Tourism Department Winter Games Association, Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation and Indian Olympic Association in Dehradun, winter games in Auli were discussed. Winter Games Association Secretary Ajay Bhatt said that national winter competitions will be organized in Auli with the cooperation of Tourism Department and Winter Games Association.

Senior National Skiing Competitions will be held in Auli from 29 January to 2 February. Winter Games Association President Harshmani Vyas, Patron Laxman Mehta, Vikas Dimri, Tourism Officer Chamoli Brijesh Pandey, Kishore Dimri, Shiva Keshavan of Olympic Association joined the meeting virtually.
