Garrison became the third commissioner of Uttarakhand, these four districts were included

On the anniversary of the formation of the summer capital of Uttarakhand, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat gave another big gift to Garasain. On Thursday, the CM announced the formation of a new commissioner in the form of Garsain. Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Almora and Bageshwar districts will be included in this third commissionary of the state. The Headquarters of the Commissionerate will be at Garsain. Along with this, the proposed master plan will be tendered within a month for the development of Garsain. CM’s announcement was welcomed by the House by thumping the table.
CM today surprised everyone on Garsain in exactly the same manner as a year ago. On March 4, 2020, even after presenting the budget, CM announced Grasain to be the summer capital. After completing the budget speech, CM said that I want to make three special announcements now. As soon as he announced the commissioning of Garasain as commissioner, BJP MLAs thumped the table welcoming and the entire House thundered.
New Commissionerate will be formed by removing two districts each of Garhwal and Kumaon Commissionerate. The CM said that a master plan is being made for the development of Garsain. It will be tendered within a month. As the third announcement, the CM said that the newly created panchayats would be given one crore rupees for the development of infrastructure.
Non-commissioned commissioner will be equal to kumaon
In terms of administrative scope, the size of the non-commissioned commissioner will be similar to that of the Kumaon commissioner. At present, there were six districts in the Kumaon Commissionerate. Due to the cutting of Almodra and Bageshwar, their number is now four. Two districts have also been removed from Garhwal Commissionerate comprising seven districts and included in Garsain Commissionerate. In terms of the number of districts, now Garhwal Commissionary with five districts will still be the eldest commissioner in the state.
