The government is going to ban the increasing and arbitrary fees of private schools in Uttarakhand. According to Education Minister Arvind Pandey, Fee Act will be implemented for this from this education session. Soon, a report will be sought from all the District Magistrates in this regard.
The Education Minister held a meeting of officials of the Department of Education in the chamber located in the Legislative Assembly. After the meeting, he said that the kind of facilities which are being provided to the private schools in the state, those schools should charge the fees accordingly, taking fees on the contrary is a crime. He said that there are many complaints from parents regarding school fees. There has been a tense situation regarding the fees.
Instructions were given to the District Magistrates earlier also in this regard. Within one to two days, all district magistrates will be instructed again through video conferencing that parents and teachers’ parents association should be called separately and take their views and views. He said that the government will take a decision after taking a report from the District Magistrates regarding the Fee Act. The government will implement the Better Fees Act in the state and the parents will get rid of this war.
Efforts made earlier for fees act
In the state, efforts have already been made on behalf of the government regarding the Fees Act. Earlier, Education Minister Arvind Pandey had given instructions to the departmental officers, but during that time he expressed displeasure at not following the instructions of the minister. During that time the matter had increased so much that the matter had reached the Chief Minister.
