The people of this inaccessible valley named Durmi were invited to honor Chief Minister Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat. On the occasion of the announcement of the reconstruction of the historic Durmee Tal (pond) on the State Foundation Day on 9 November, the public honored the Chief Minister Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat. There is still much to be done in this valley in terms of development and infrastructure. The people of this place have been demanding for the last several years that the Dharmi Tal, which was broken in the 1970 floods.
