In view of the increasing cases of Corona virus in the country, the government has announced to increase the lockdown till May 3. The Health Ministry said on Tuesday that 602 dedicated corona hospitals in the country are ready. In this series, the country’s largest Kovid-19 care center has been set up in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat. Where 2000 patients can be housed.
There have been 617 cases of corona in Gujarat, out of which 346 people have been found infected in Ahmedabad alone. In view of this, the local body of Ahmedabad has designed the country’s largest Kovid-19 care center which has a capacity to accommodate 2000 patients. However, only those patients who do not have any other disease or other complications will be kept in it.

Officials said on Tuesday that with the help of this center built in a hostel near the Gujarat University campus, the burden on government hospitals will be reduced. The center has library, yoga and indoor sports facilities for the patients.

Ahmedabad city commissioner Vijay Nehra said that here we can accommodate 2000 patients, this is the first and largest Kovid-19 care center in the country. He informed that every patient coming to this center will be given a bed and essential things like toothbrush, soap and bucket etc.

Nehra said that the medical team would examine the patients twice a day and as a precaution this team would stop here so that the infection could not go out through them. He informed that members of the medical team will also be examined for infection on 14-14 days.

After visiting the center, he said that Gujarat has 617 cases of infection with the corona virus, of which 346 cases are from Ahmedabad. City Deputy Commissioner Nitin Sangwan informed that the patients living in the center will be provided with cooked food outside. He told that an ambulance is also arranged, so that there is no problem if needed.
