Recently, the government had given instructions to verify madrasas in the state. In the initial phase, the police has started work on this.

The police has started verification of madrasas in the state. In this regard, letters were issued to all the districts by the police headquarters recently. The local intelligence unit (LIU) of the districts will provide its report to the headquarters within a month. It will be told how many madrasas are legal and how many are illegal. Further investigation and action will be taken only on the instructions of the government.Recently, the government had given instructions to verify madrasas in the state. In the initial phase, the police has started work for this. After the report comes from the LIU of the districts, it will be sent to the Minority Welfare Department. After this, action will be taken against illegal madrasas. In the same sequence, if the funding of someone is suspicious, then it will also be investigated. According to official sources of the police, after getting instructions from the government, legal action will also be taken against the concerned operators.

Let us tell you that for this, a committee has also been formed in every district under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate. However, in the first phase, LIU has to see only how many madrasas are illegal and how many are legal.

Only after this the next investigation will be done. In this case, Additional Director General of Police (Administration) AP Anshuman said that after the instructions of the government, verification letters have been issued to the police in-charges of all the districts. Instructions have been given to the police in-charges to submit the report after a month.
