Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami made a surprise inspection of Ranipokhari bridge on Rishikesh Dehradun road. He directed the officials to complete the work within the stipulated time frame. The Chief Minister also met the local people present on the spot.

During this, a presentation was shown to him on behalf of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited regarding the progress of the work. He said that the Doiwala Gangotri Railroad would be connected with Rishikesh. Also, the headquarter of GRP will be opened in Rishikesh.

He said that the target is to complete the work of Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line by 2024. Whatever problems are being faced in the construction of the railway line, they are being removed by the state government. In the matter of vacating Krishna Nagar settled on IDPL land by the Forest Department, he said that our aim is to develop. During this, Speaker Premchand Agarwal and Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal were also present with him.

Earlier, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Yognagri railway station. CM Dhami also visited Gullar Dogi, Tehri and inspected the construction works of Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project. He also took stock of the works by going inside the tunnel under construction.
