Total number of recovered Corona patients in Uttar Pradesh surpasses active cases

In a major achievement for Uttar Pradesh government, the total number of recovered Corona patients has surpassed the active cases in the state. There are 1,735 active cases in UP, while a total of 1,758 people have been discharged from different hospital after treatment. More from our correspondent:

“One can see a silver lining in fight against corona in state and that is related with the recovery of patients in state. Now total discharged COVID-19 cases exceeds total active patients.Till now 1 thousand 7 hundred 58 patients have been discharged after recovery and currently 1 thousand 7 hundred 35 active patients are in state. Day before yesterday the number of total patients in state were 1884 but now active COVID-19 cases have gone down below 1800. The avg recovery time also comes near 16 days in state.  Arogya setu App is also helping in the tracking of patients in state as 9 persons were found positive after testing of more than 2 thousand persons about whom was generated by Arogya setu App. Meanwhile Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will transfer around 225 crores today in the accounts of MG NREGA workers through DBT.
