India’s COVID-19 Case Fatality Rate falls below 1.5%

The Health Ministry has said that the Case Fatality Rate (CFR) due to COVID-19 has fallen below 1.5 per cent and it is continuously declining in the country.
At present, the CFR is 1.49 per cent.
The Ministry said that 23 States and Union Territories have Case Fatality Rate less than the national average.
The States include Assam, Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana.
