Rounds of meetings also started at the level of the Sports Department. Late in the evening, a high-level meeting was held in the Sports Secretariat regarding the preparations for PM Modi’s visit, in which Special Principal Secretary (Sports) Amit Sinha and other officials were present.During this, discussions were held on PM’s security and preparations for a grand welcome. Discussions were held on how many layers of security arrangements will be there in the stadium at the inauguration, entry of common people, VIP and VVIP entry, pass system etc. A meeting will also be held between senior police officials and Sports Secretariat officials on Thursday or Friday regarding PM’s security.
