Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to see Baba Kedarnath before the closure of the doors. He is likely to visit Uttarakhand on or around Diwali on November 4 and 5. Please tell that the doors of Kedarnath will be closed on 6th November on Bhaiya Dooj.
Recently, PM Modi had come to the program organized in AIIMS Rishikesh. Even then there was a possibility of him going to Kedarnath. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also visited Kedarnath just a day before his visit. He oversaw the ongoing reconstruction works there. Just a week before the Prime Minister’s visit, his advisor Bhaskar Khulbe also visited Kedarnath to take stock of the reconstruction work.
After these visits of CM and advisor, the possibility of PM going to Kedarnath was being expressed, but the Prime Minister did not go to Kedarnath. But now the Prime Minister is likely to visit Kedarnath on November 5. BJP state president Madan Kaushik has indicated this. Prime Minister celebrates Diwali with soldiers. It is likely that the PM can visit Baba Kedar on November 5 after celebrating Diwali with soldiers on the border in Uttarakhand on November 4. Can lay the foundation stone for the reconstruction works
Prime Minister Narendra Modi can also lay the foundation stone for the ongoing second phase of reconstruction works in Kedarnath. 160 crore works are to be done in the second phase. The statue of Adi Guru Shankaracharya is also to be established in Kedardham. Recently, the Prime Minister had also said that he is doing virtual monitoring of the reconstruction works.
The doors of Kedarnath will be closed on November 6 at 8 am
The timing of the closure of the doors of Kedarnath Dham was announced in the Omkareshwar temple, the winter seat on Vijayadashami. The doors of the Dham are closed on the day of Bhaiya Dooj as per the tradition. This year the doors will be closed on November 6 at 8 am on the fixed festival.
Devasthanam Board’s media in-charge Dr. Harish Chandra Gaur told that after the closure of the doors, Baba Kedar’s mobile Vigraha Utsav Doli will reach Rampur for the first night stay via Gaurikund, Sonprayag on foot. On November 7, Doli will stay at the Vishwanath temple in Guptkashi. While on November 8, the winter seat will be seated in the Omkareshwar temple. Here with the installation of Bhog idols of Baba in the sanctum sanctorum, the six months winter of Aaradhya will be here.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Uttarakhand soon. He can also go to see Baba Kedar. However, the program is yet to be finalised.
