Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday participated as the chief guest in the inaugural function of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav National Kala Yatra organized by Snehil Sanstha at Janta Darshan Hall at Chief Minister’s residence.

Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday participated as the chief guest in the inaugural function of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav National Kala Yatra organized by Snehil Sanstha at Janta Darshan Hall at Chief Minister’s residence. The Chief Minister also released Snehil Souvenir on the occasion. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, martyrs and revolutionaries are being remembered through art and literary activities by Snehil Sanstha, this is a commendable effort. The Chief Minister said that art, literature and culture are an integral part of human life. In the memory of our revolutionaries, sacrificers and those who made important contributions for the freedom of the country, the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence is being celebrated with great pomp across the country. He said that it is necessary for the younger generation to be aware of the deeds and stories of these sons of the country. The Chief Minister said that India is becoming powerful, prosperous and self-reliant under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister has given a different identity to India on the global stage. Keeping in mind every section of the country, public welfare schemes are being run by the central government. The country is on the path of rapid progress. The Chief Minister said that since becoming the Chief Sevak of Uttarakhand on July 04, it has been my endeavor to develop the state according to the dreams of our agitators and martyrs. In these 100 days, every effort has been made to make good use of every moment to serve the people of the state. Efforts have been made to reach the people of the last line of the society. The state government is working by taking all sections of the society along and according to the sentiments of the people. He said that the development of the state is not my only journey, it is a collective journey in which everyone’s participation is necessary. The government is working as a partner with the people. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also visited the paintings of many agitators and revolutionaries like Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose, Khudiram Bose, Sardar Patel, Rani Laxmibai, Savitri Bai Phule Kanaklata Barua. In the program, Cabinet Minister Shri Ganesh Joshi, BJP leader Shri Baljit Soni, Patron of Snehil Sanstha Dr. RB. Singh, Chaudhary Awadhesh Kumar, President of Snehil Sanstha Dr. Mamta Singh, Mrs. Shashi, Dr. Rashi Jha, Dr. Ramvir Singh, Mrs. Manjula Singh, Dr. Chetna Pokhriyal, Dr. Alka Mohan Sharma, and others were present.
