In Uttarakhand, the cases of coronavirus were decreasing for some time, but yesterday Dehradun saw a sudden jump in the cases of coronavirus, after which the administration has become strict again. Where earlier all the restrictions related to lockdown were abolished in the state, now these restrictions have returned again.

Lockdown imposed in these areas

Due to the new corona cases found on Wednesday, the district administration in Dehradun has declared a lockdown in Tibetan Colony and FRI located on Sahastradhara Road. This order has been issued by DM Dehradun, all types of activities have been banned within the zone under the lockdown.

To take necessary protective measures under Uttarakhand Epidemic Diseases, COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 Epidemic Diseases Act 1897 and Disaster Management Act-2005 due to the detection of corona virus infected persons at Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy Dehradun located under Municipal Corporation, Dehradun areahave become inevitable.Therefore, the following orders have been passed by declaring Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy Alt Hostel F, Ahradoon as Micro Containment Zone.

1- Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy FRI Dehradun, located under Municipal Corporation, Dehradun area, will be completely locked down from 25.11.2021 and all the local people will stay in their respective homes.

2- Barricading and security measures will be ensured by the police department on all the roads under the said area during the lock down period.

3- The District Supply Officer, Dehradun will ensure arrangements for selling daily essential items such as ration, vegetables and fruits in the said area.

4- Assistant Director, Dairy, if any person feels the symptoms of cold, cold and fever etc., if any person feels the symptoms of cold, cold and fever etc., then immediately the following number (0135-2724555 2620086) will be ensured by making arrangements for sale of milk in the said area. 27280036 and MohdNo- 7534826066), so that medical facilities can be made available immediately.6- The Chief Medical Officer, Dehradun will ensure to conduct community surveillance in the said area as per the guidelines in this regard.

7- In case of emergency, contact can be established on the toll free number 112 of the police department.

It was told that 100% compliance of the above orders would be mandatory for the protection of the general publicIn case of violation, action will be taken under Disaster Management Act 2005 or Uttarakhand Epidemic Diseases, COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 Epidemic Diseases Act 1897 and relevant sections of Indian Penal Code and other Acts.
