Two years after Corona, International Yoga Day is being celebrated on a large scale in the city of Yoga. Thousands of people arrived at 6.30 in the morning to do different activities of yoga to keep the body healthy in the midst of the slow wind blowing on the banks of the Ganges.
In the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday morning, thousands of people performed yoga in the presence of Parmarth Niketan President Swami Chidanand Saraswati. Rishikesh has gained fame in the country and abroad as the city of Yoga. People from all over the world come here to get the knowledge of yoga, spirituality and meditation.
People are so passionate about yoga in Rishikesh that one person from every house will be seen doing yoga. Here, from five-year-old children to 70-year-olds, they amaze with their yoga activities. There are about 450 yoga training centers in Rishikesh and it is not a gym but a part of the child’s lifestyle here.
A large number of youth are also adopting it as a powerful means of employment, but due to the restrictions of the Corona era, people were imprisoned in their homes during the last two years. In such a situation, International Yoga Day remained confined only to the homes and roofs of the people.

Now after two years, today thousands of people enjoyed yoga activities together under the open sky at 6.30 am in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and in the presence of Parmarth Niketan President Swami Chidanand Saraswati. Here the Chief Minister will also share his experiences and thoughts with the yoga seekers.
The main program of Yoga Day is being organized at Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh. Apart from this, programs of yoga will also be held at 75 prominent places in all the districts of the state.
