Central theme of Bharat Parv 2020 is \u2018Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat\u2019 and \u2018Celebrating 150 Years of Mahatma Gandhi\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

To celebrate the spirit of India, the annual event Bharat Parv has been organised in Delhi . Special Secretary & Financial Adviser of Ministry of Tourism Shri Rajesh Kumar Chaturvedi\u00a0inaugurated\u00a0the Bharat Parv\u00a0by playing\u00a0Nagada and releasing Tri-color balloons\u00a0today\u00a0at Red fort ground in New Delhi.DG,\u00a0Tourism, Smt. Meenakshi Sharma, ADG,Tourism Smt. Rupinder Brar and other senior officials of Ministry were also present during the inaugural ceremony.<\/p>\n

After the inaugural ceremony, armed forces band gave their tremendous performance which was followed by cultural performance by North Centre Zone Cultural Cenre.<\/p>\n

Bharat\u00a0 Parv,\u00a0 2020\u00a0 is\u00a0 being\u00a0 celebrated\u00a0 from\u00a0 26th to 31st\u00a0 January, 2020\u00a0\u00a0 in\u00a0 front\u00a0 of\u00a0 Red\u00a0 Fort\u00a0 at\u00a0 Gyan\u00a0 Path\u00a0 and\u00a0 Red Fort grounds. The\u00a0 objective of\u00a0 Bharat Parv\u00a0 is\u00a0 to\u00a0 encourage\u00a0 Indians\u00a0 to visit\u00a0 different\u00a0 tourism\u00a0 places\u00a0 of\u00a0 India and to inculcate\u00a0 the spirit\u00a0 of\u00a0 \u2018Dekho\u00a0 Apna\u00a0 Desh\u2019.\u00a0More than 50 food stalls, 79 handicrafts \/ handloom stalls and 27 theme pavilions have been setup during Bharat Parv.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0 Central theme\u00a0 of\u00a0 this\u00a0 year\u2019s\u00a0 Bharat\u00a0 Parv\u00a0 is\u00a0\u00a0 \u2018Ek\u00a0 Bharat\u00a0 Shreshtha\u00a0 Bharat\u2019 and\u00a0 \u2018Celebrating\u00a0 150 Years of\u00a0 Mahatma Gandhi\u2019. Bharat Parv will be open for the General Public on 26th January, at 5.00 PM till 10.00 PM.\u00a0 On the remaining days 27th\u00a0to 31st\u00a0January, 2020 the Bharat\u00a0 Parv would\u00a0\u00a0 be\u00a0 open\u00a0 from\u00a0 12.00 Hrs\u00a0 till\u00a0 10.00 PM.<\/p>\n

Bharat Parv have many attractions for public like display of Tableaux of the Republic Day parade, performance by armed forces bands, tourism theme pavilion by State Governments\/ Union Territory Administrations and line Ministries, handicraft & Handloom Stalls by the State Governments\/Union Territory Administrations, Commission Handloom \/ Handicrafts \/ TRIFED, food Court by State Governments, Institutes of Hotel Management and other organizations, cultural Performances by North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC) and State Governments \/ UT Administrations and cookery\u00a0 demonstrations\u00a0 by\u00a0 State Governments\u00a0 and Institute of\u00a0 Hotel\u00a0 Management.<\/p>\n

Entry to the Bharat Parv\u00a0 is\u00a0 free though\u00a0 the\u00a0 visitors\u00a0 will\u00a0 have to show\u00a0 their\u00a0 identity proof\u00a0 for\u00a0 entering\u00a0 the Parv.<\/p>\n
