The event commemorating the 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0year\u00a0of Kargil Victory was flagged off from the Kargil War Memorial at Drass on\u00a021 Sep 19.<\/li>\n<li>The Air Warriors undertook the challenging task of carrying the\u00a0\u2018Glory Torch\u2019 through 4500 kms, averaging 100 kms on the road per day for\u00a045 days, passing through mountains and plains, traversing densely populated cities and wilderness enroute, culminating on 06 Nov 19 at Kohima, Nagaland.
