Most front pages focus on the Centre\u2019s GST Council review, as well as the announcement that the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill will be looked at next week in Parliament.\u00a0Top papers also carried news about NASA crediting a Chennai-based techie\u00a0Shanmuga Subramanian\u00a0for spotting the debris of Chandrayan 2\u2019s Vikram lander in their recently released lunar images.<\/p>\n

GST Council review:\u00a0<\/b>The Times of India<\/i>reports<\/a>\u00a0that the GST Council\u2019s review includes a discussion with states about a \u201cpossible revamp of the goods and services tax, which may include bringing a few exempted items under levy\u201d.\u00a0The Indian Express<\/i>\u00a0frames<\/a>\u00a0it differently in \u201cGST Council rings first alarm bells on revenue\u201d, it writes that \u201cin its first admission of strain\u201d the GST Council has admitted to states that compensation cess collections have become a \u201cmatter of concern\u201d.\u00a0The Hindu<\/i>, too,\u00a0uses<\/a>\u00a0a tone of concern in\u00a0 \u201cGST revenues not enough for State\u2019s compensation\u201d.
