\nA Western Disturbance (WD) and induced cyclonic circulation are likely to produce fairly widespread rain or snow and thunderstorms over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Isolated to scattered rain and dust storms and thunderstorms are likely over the plains of northern India, in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh on Friday. Rajasthan will also receive isolated rainfall.
\nThe trough (extended low-pressure area) over southern India and a cyclonic circulation over Kerala and Tamil Nadu will trigger heavy rainfall and thunderstorms over Karnataka. Kerala is also likely to get scattered rain and thunderstorms. Tamil Nadu and Telangana will also get isolated rainfall and thunderstorms due to similar weather conditions. Moreover, the Andaman & Nicobar Islands will receive widespread rain and thunderstorms during this forecast period.
\nMaximum temperatures of 45\u00b0C or more are likely over Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. Maximum temperatures of 40\u00b0C or more are likely over Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

\nThe feeble WD will continue to cause isolated rain or snow and thunderstorms over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
\nDown south, the persisting trough will continue to bring heavy rain and thunderstorm over Karnataka. Kerala is likely to receive scattered rainfall. Tamil Nadu will also get isolated rain and thunderstorms due to similar weather conditions. Widespread rain and thunderstorms is possible over the Andaman and Nicobar islands. Other regions of south India like Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will witness isolated rain and thunderstorms during this forecast period.
\nBihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Maharashtra will also receive isolated rainfall.
