A key area of interest for the Ethiopian delegation is the scale of financial inclusion achieved:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Women SHGs have accessed&nbsp;<strong>\u20b911 Lakh Crore (Rupees Eleven Lakh Crore)<\/strong>&nbsp;in formal financial institution loans since 2013-14. This demonstrates the program\u2019s success in building robust, scaled access to finance and sustainable livelihood ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Delegation and Learning Objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ethiopian delegation is led by&nbsp;<strong>Ms. Sintayehu Demissie Admasu<\/strong>, Head of the Food and Security Coordination Office (FSCO), Ministry of Agriculture, Ethiopia. The delegation also includes senior officials from the&nbsp;<strong>Ministry of Women and Social Affairs<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Disaster Risk Management and Food Security Commissions<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Regional Food Security Offices<\/strong>, along with representatives from the&nbsp;<strong>World Bank&#8217;s Social Protection and Livelihoods Team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exposure visit, spanning five days across&nbsp;<strong>New Delhi, Alwar, and Jaipur<\/strong>, will provide firsthand insights into NRLM\u2019s evolution, policy architecture, institutional structure, and field-level implementation. The delegation will focus on the following key areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Policy and Governance<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Understanding the policy vision and institutional framework driving the NRLM&#8217;s success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Field Implementation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Practical observation of&nbsp;<strong>Self-Help Groups (SHGs)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Village Organizations (VOs)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Cluster Level Federations (CLFs)<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)<\/strong>&nbsp;in Rajasthan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Livelihood Models<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Detailed study of how rural women collectively manage funds, engage in livelihood enterprises, and utilize digital tools for empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking on the visit,&nbsp;<strong>Shri T. K. Anil Kumar (IAS)<\/strong>, Additional Secretary,&nbsp;<strong>Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India<\/strong>, emphasized the spirit of global partnership:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis exchange reflects the power of South-South learning and the opportunity that India\u2019s experiences offer to the rest of the world in leveraging community-owned and community-driven platforms for large-scale progress and inclusive development.
