India’s Active Caseload (2,73,889) is 0.81% of Total Cases<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

India\u2019s Cumulative COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage exceeds 90 Cr Mark. With the administration of 69,33,838 <\/strong>vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India\u2019s COVID-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 89.74Cr (89,74,81,554<\/strong>) as per provisional reports till 7 am today. This has been achieved through 87,06,441 sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The break-up of the cumulative figure as per the provisional report till 7 am today include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recovery of25,455<\/strong>patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 3,30,68,599.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consequently, India\u2019s recovery rate stands at 97.86%<\/strong>. Recovery Rate is currently at its highest peak since March 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States\/UTs continue the trend of less than 50,000 Daily New Cases that is being reported for 97 consecutive days now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

24,354new cases<\/strong> were reported in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Active Caseload is presently2,73,889, <\/strong>which is the lowest in 197 days.<\/strong>Active cases presently constitute 0.81%<\/strong> of the country’s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded. The last 24 hours saw a total of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14,29,258tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 57.19 Cr (57,19,94,990<\/strong>) cumulative tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.68% remains less than 3% for the last 99 days now. <\/strong>The Daily Positivity rate reported to be1.70%. <\/strong>The daily Positivity rate has remained below3% for last 33 days and below 5% for 116 consecutive days now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Update on COVID-19 Vaccine Availability in States\/UTs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 88.14Crore vaccine doses provided to States\/UTs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 5.28 Crore balance and unutilized vaccine doses still available with States\/UTs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the nationwide vaccination drive, Government of India has been supporting the States and UTs by providing them COVID Vaccines free of cost. In the new phase of the universalization of the COVID19 vaccination drive, the Union Government will procure and supply (free of cost) 75% of the vaccines being produced by the vaccinemanufacturers in the country to States and UTs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
