Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Ajay Bhatt"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"MinistryNameSubhead text-center\">Ministry of Defence<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-center\">\n<h2>Pension to Ex-Servicemen<br \/>\n<span id=\"ltrSubtitle\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ReleaseDateSubHeaddateTime text-center pt20\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"pt20\"><\/div>\n<p>As per current pension structure applicable to Armed Forces personnel, following pensionary awards are given:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Retiring Pension\/Service Pension<\/li>\n<li>Retiring Gratuity\/Service Gratuity<\/li>\n<li>Special Pension\/Special Gratuity<\/li>\n<li>Invalid Pension\/Invalid Gratuity<\/li>\n<li>Retirement Gratuity\/Death Gratuity<\/li>\n<li>Disability Pension\/War injury pension<\/li>\n<li>Ordinary Family pension\/Special Family pension\/Liberalized Family pension<\/li>\n<li>Dependent pension\/Second life award of special family pension\/Liberalized family pension<\/li>\n<li>Family Gratuity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pension is calculated at 50% of the last emoluments drawn by the individual.\u00a0 The minimum qualifying service for earning a service pension is 20 years in case of Commissioned Officers and 15 years in case of Personnel Below Officer Rank.<\/p>\n<p>Pension in respect of Armed Forces personnel has increased from time to time on the basis of recommendations of various Central Pay Commissions.
