Government of India is swiftly clearing and apportioning global aid to strengthen tertiary medical care across States and UTs for COVID management.\u00a0Cumulatively, 9,284 Oxygen Concentrators; 7,033 Oxygen Cylinders; 19 Oxygen Generation Plants; 5,933 ventilators\/Bi PAP and over 3.44L Remdesivir vials have been delivered\/ dispatched through road and air, so far.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has exceeded\u00a017.72 Cr<\/strong>\u00a0today under the Phase-3 of the nationwide Vaccination Drive.<\/p>\n

A total of\u00a017,72,14,256\u00a0<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 25,70,537 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. These include\u00a096,00,420\u00a0<\/strong>HCWs who have taken the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose and\u00a065,70,062\u00a0<\/strong>HCWs who have taken the 2nd<\/sup>dose,\u00a01,42,34,793\u00a0<\/strong>FLWs (1st<\/sup>dose),\u00a080,30,007\u00a0<\/strong>FLWs (2nd<\/sup>dose),\u00a034,80,618\u00a0<\/strong>beneficiaries under 18-45 age group (1st<\/sup>dose),\u00a05,62,43,308\u00a0<\/strong>(1st<\/sup>dose) and\u00a081,58,535\u00a0<\/strong>(2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose) beneficiaries aged 45 to 60 years.\u00a05,40,99,241\u00a0<\/strong>1st<\/sup>dose beneficiaries and\u00a01,67,97,272\u00a0<\/strong>2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose beneficiaries of more than 60 years old.<\/p>\n

4,31,285\u00a0<\/strong>beneficiaries of the age group 18-44 years received their first dose of COVID vaccine in the last 24 hours and cumulatively\u00a034,80,618\u00a0<\/strong>across 30 States\/UTs since the start of phase-3 of vaccination drive. Table below shows the cumulative vaccine doses administered to 18-44 years age group till now.<\/p>\n

Nearly 19 lakh vaccination doses were administered in the last 24 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As on Day-117 of the vaccination drive (12th<\/sup>\u00a0May, 2021), 18,94,991 vaccine doses were given. Across 17,684 sessions, 9,98,409 beneficiaries were vaccinated for 1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose and 8,96,582 beneficiaries received their 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose of vaccine.<\/p>\n

3,52,181\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries\u00a0were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Ten states account for\u00a072.90%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new recoveries.<\/p>\n

A net incline of 6,426 cases is recorded in the active caseload in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

12<\/strong>States cumulatively account for\u00a079.67%<\/strong>\u00a0of India\u2019s\u00a0total Active Cases.<\/p>\n

Maharashtrahas reported the highest daily new cases at\u00a046,781. Itis followed by Kerala with\u00a043,529while Karnataka reported 39,998new cases.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The National Mortality Rate currently stands at\u00a01.09%.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4,120\u00a0<\/strong>deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Ten States account for\u00a074.30%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new deaths. Maharashtra saw the maximum casualties (816). Karnataka follows with516 daily deaths.<\/p>\n
