India\u2019s total Active Caseload has dipped to\u00a037,04,099 today<\/strong>. It now\u00a0comprises\u00a015.87%\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0the country’s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n

A net decline of 11,122 cases is recorded in the active caseload in the last 24 hours. This is the second consecutive day of decline in the active cases.<\/strong><\/p>\n

13\u00a0<\/strong>States cumulatively account for\u00a082.51%<\/strong>\u00a0of India\u2019s\u00a0total Active Cases.<\/p>\n

3,55,338\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries\u00a0were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

New Recoveries outshines new daily cases for the second consecutive days.<\/p>\n

Ten states account for\u00a071.58%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new recoveries.<\/p>\n

Government of India is expeditiously delivering global aid to States\/UTs under the \u201cWhole of Government\u201d approach, to augment their efforts in COVID management. 9,200 Oxygen Concentrators, 5,243 Oxygen Cylinders, 19 Oxygen Generation Plants, 5,913ventilators\/ Bi PAP and ~3.44LRemdesivir vials received as part of global aid to India have been delivered\/ dispatched to States and UTs to strengthen and supplement their COVID response, so far.\u00a0The Union Government\u00a0is ensuring a streamlined and fast delivery of the global aid to States and UTsthrough faster custom clearances, and use of air and road.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the other hand, the cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has exceeded\u00a017.52 Cr<\/strong>\u00a0today as the Phase-3 of the nationwide Vaccination Drive expands further.<\/p>\n

A total of17,52,35,991<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 25,47,534sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. These include\u00a095,82,449\u00a0<\/strong>HCWs who have taken the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose and\u00a065,39,376\u00a0<\/strong>HCWs who have taken the 2nd<\/sup>dose,\u00a01,41,49,634\u00a0<\/strong>FLWs (1st<\/sup>dose),\u00a079,52,537\u00a0<\/strong>FLWs (2nd<\/sup>dose),\u00a030,44,463\u00a0<\/strong>beneficiaries under 18-45 age group (1st<\/sup>dose),\u00a05,58,83,416\u00a0<\/strong>(1st<\/sup>dose) and\u00a078,36,168\u00a0<\/strong>(2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose) beneficiaries aged 45 to 60 years.\u00a05,39,59,772<\/strong>1st<\/sup>dose beneficiaries and\u00a01,62,88,176\u00a0<\/strong>2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose beneficiaries of more than 60 years old.<\/p>\n

More than 24.4 lakh vaccination doses were administered in the last 24 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As on Day-116 of the vaccination drive (11th<\/sup>\u00a0May, 2021), 24,46,674 vaccine doses were given. Across 18,543 sessions, 10,92,452 beneficiaries were vaccinated for 1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose and 13,54,222 beneficiaries received their 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose of vaccine.<\/p>\n
