Dehradun. Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has directed that strict action should be taken against those who do not follow masks and social distancing. The amount of fine should be increased from 200 rupees to 500 rupees for those who roam without a mask. Night curfew should be strictly enforced. The number of people allowed at weddings should be reduced from 200 to 100. The Chief Minister was holding a meeting with senior officials of the government over the Kovid at Bijapur House.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister said that the situation should not deteriorate further, for this, the currently applicable Guideline has to be implemented in letter and spirit. Whoever violates it should not be lax in proceeding against it. Checkposts should be set up on state boarders as per requirements and no one should be allowed without RTPCR negative report. Assessing the situation ahead, Kovid Hospital should be built accordingly. Focus on more and more texting.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister said that it should be ensured that black marketing of medicines required for treatment of covid is not done. If any drug dealer is found to be involved in it, immediate license can be canceled and strict action should be taken. All the necessary equipment related to covid should be available in government hospitals. The prices of medicines should also be controlled. Nodal officers should be deployed in the districts where more cases are coming.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister said that for the time being, the negative report of RTPCR should be made necessary for those visiting Chardham Yatra and Hemkund Sahib. The Chief Minister said that an immediate action plan should be made on how to minimize the loss to the economy of the state due to increasing cases of Kovid.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister said that the vaccination campaign should also be expedited. The Chief Minister said that the protocol required for home isolation should be fully adhered to. Home kits should be provided with the necessary kits and be kept in constant touch with them. Covid care centers should be strengthened.<\/p>\n
Chief Secretary Shri Omprakash said that public awareness is very important. What is to be taken care of, people should be informed about it through various means. Secretary in charge Dr. Pankaj Pandey said that work is being done to increase the beds of covid Care Center and ICU in every district. Especially in Dehradun, Haridwar, Haldwani, the number of beds is being increased considerably. Major hospitals and medical colleges have also been asked to create additional capacity of 100-100 beds. Three oxygen generation plants are functioning in Dehradun, Roorkee and Kashipur. In addition to these, eight new oxygen generation plants have been installed. Oxygen is available enough. All ICUs are operated correctly. New doctors have been deployed. Each district will get 20-20 doctors. In addition, the services of medical students can be availed by training if required.<\/p>\n
