Drinking water is getting scarce in dozens of villages of Aswalsuyen Patti in Kaljikhal block of Pauri. People from all the villages including Bagwanu, Beti, Bakroli, Hitoli, Siro, Nava, Koti, Baluni village, Sirwal village, Kanda are facing water scarcity. There is neither drinking water for the people nor water is available to the animals.<\/p>\n
This time due to less rainfall in winter, water is missing from natural sources as well. There has been a severe shortage of water in many areas of Tehri. To overcome this shortage of water, Drinking Water Minister Bishan Singh Chufal started trying to get water from mules or tankers, but it is not being effective.<\/p>\n
In a special conversation with Amar Ujala, Drinking Water Minister Bishan Singh Chufal said that he has sought a report in this regard from all the district magistrates. All places are being identified with the help of Drinking Water Corporation and Jal Sansthan. He told that as far as possible, the availability of water will be increased at all places. Efforts are being made to remove the immediate problems. Continuous monitoring is being done.<\/p>\n
