Minister of State for Higher Education Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has given instructions to the departmental officers.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of State for Higher Education said that in view of the way the Corona influence is increasing in the state, it has been decided to conduct students&#8217; studies in both off and online mode under higher education.<\/p>\n<p>He said that Principal Secretary Higher Education has been directed to issue orders in this regard soon. Said that students of science and experimental subjects will be able to come and study in their institutions. Whereas students of other subjects will study online while sitting at home.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of State for Higher Education said that the Vice Chancellor will be monitoring at the university level to ensure studies in both modes. While at the college level, the director will monitor higher education and send his report to the government every month. Similarly, principals of government colleges will send reports of their institutions to the Director of Higher Education.<br \/>\n94 colleges connected to 4G connectivity in the state<br \/>\nMinister of State for Higher Education Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat informed that out of 106 state colleges in the state, 94 colleges have been connected with 4G network connectivity. By April 30, other colleges will also be added to this facility. The Minister of State for Higher Education said that basic facilities like library, electricity, drinking water, smart class, e-board, e-library, computer, modern laboratory equipment, furniture etc. have been made available in all the colleges of the state.<\/p>\n<p>Mandate to be released in schools on Monday<br \/>\nIn view of increasing cases of corona infection in the state, except for Kalsi and Chakrata in Dehradun district, schools will be closed in the entire district till April 30. Apart from this, all schools in Haridwar district, Nainital Municipality area and Haldwani Municipal Corporation area will be closed from class one to 11th. According to Education Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, on Monday, a mandate will be issued regarding leave in schools. The education secretary said that after the decision to close the schools in the cabinet meeting on Friday, the mandate in this regard will be issued when the secretariat opens on Monday. Told that this decision will not be applicable for 10th and 12th.
