Maternity benefits amounting to Rs.5931.95 crores (including Central and State share) have been paid to 1.75 crores eligible beneficiaries during the last three financial years i.e. 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20. Further, maternity benefits amounting to Rs.2063.70 crores (including Central and State share) have been paid to 65.12 lakh eligible beneficiaries during the current financial year of 2020-21 (as on 29.01.2021).<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li value=\"370463465995\">provisions for the Scheme are made as per the requirement based on the number of beneficiaries.
