<\/span><\/div>\n\n\nIndia has sustained its trend of maintaining the active cases below the 10 lakh mark; For the 10th successive day, the active cases are less than 1 million (10 lakhs).<\/p>\n
With a very high number of COVID patients recovering every single day, India\u2019s steady trend of posting high level of daily recoveries also continues.\u00a085,376 recoveries\u00a0<\/strong>have been registered in the last 24 hours in the country.<\/p>\nIndia\u2019s total recoveries\u00a0stands at\u00a052,73,201<\/strong>\u00a0today. Higher number of single day recoveries have resulted in continuous increase in the national recovery rate, which is currently pegged at\u00a083.53%.<\/strong><\/p>\nThe rise in total recovered cases has been steep. The last 10 lakh recoveries were added in just 12\u00a0days.<\/p>\n
77%\u00a0<\/strong>of the total recovered cases are recorded in 10 States\/UTs.<\/p>\nMaharashtra has contributed the highest number to the total recovered cases followed by Andhra Pradesh and\u00a0Tamil Nadu.<\/p>\n
The active cases in India are\u00a09,40,705.\u00a0<\/strong>India reported\u00a09.4 lakh\u00a0<\/strong>active cases earlier on\u00a011th<\/sup>\u00a0September, 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n76%<\/strong>\u00a0of the active cases are in 10 States\/UTs. As on date, the active cases contribute only\u00a014.90%<\/strong>\u00a0to the positive caseload of the country.<\/p>\nA total of\u00a0\u00a086,821<\/strong>\u00a0new<\/strong>\u00a0confirmed cases have been reported in the last 24 hours in the country.<\/p>\n76%<\/strong>\u00a0of the new cases are concentrated in ten states. Maharashtra contributed more than 18,000 to the new cases. Karnataka\u00a0and Kerala, both contributed\u00a0more than\u00a08,000.<\/p>\n1,181 deaths\u00a0\u00a0have been registered in the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n
