In the last 24 hours, 65 thousand and 50 \u00a0COVID patients have \u00a0recovered and were discharged from the hospitals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">The Health Ministry said, the total number of recoveries has reached over 26 lakh 48 thousand and 998. It said, the constantly increasing recoveries have ensured that the actual caseload of the country has reduced and currently comprises only 21.72 per cent of the total positive cases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">It said, effective implementation of Centre&#8217;s strategic and graded &#8216;Test,Track and Treat&#8217; approach has led to higher recoveries and lower fatality. Currently, India\u2019s Case Fatality Rate is at 1.81 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>The total number of positive cases of COVID-19 infection in the country is \u00a034 lakh 63 thousand and 972. Presently, the total number of active corona cases in the country is 7 lakh 52 thousand and 424. In the last 24 hours, \u00a01021 deaths have also been reported taking the toll to 62 thousand 550.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting of the Group of Ministers &#8211; GoM on COVID-19 is underway at Nirman Bhawan in New Delhi. The meeting is being chaired by Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan.The meeting will review \u00a0the \u00a0actions taken for \u00a0management of COVID-19 and assess the preparedness.<\/p>\n<p>External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Minister of States for Home Nityanand Rai among those are present \u00a0 in the meeting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>COVID-19 recovery rate improves to 76.47 per cent Share Now Share on Facebook Share on Twitter The recovery rate among COVID-19 patients has further improved and now it has reached 76.47 per cent.
