{"id":12488,"date":"2020-06-01T22:02:27","date_gmt":"2020-06-01T16:32:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/udaen.info\/?p=12488"},"modified":"2020-06-01T22:02:27","modified_gmt":"2020-06-01T16:32:27","slug":"road-ministry-issues-advisory-for-implementing-rent-a-motor-cab-cycle-schemes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/udaen.info\/?p=12488","title":{"rendered":"Road Ministry issues advisory for implementing Rent a Motor Cab\/Cycle Schemes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"MinistryNameSubhead text-center\">Ministry of Road Transport &amp; Highways<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-center\">\n<h2>Road Ministry issues advisory for implementing Rent a Motor Cab\/Cycle Schemes<br \/>\n<span id=\"ltrSubtitle\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ReleaseDateSubHeaddateTime text-center pt20\">\u00a0PIB Delhi<\/div>\n<div class=\"pt20\"><\/div>\n<p>The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued advisory based on the issues received from certain stakeholders in implementing \u201cRent a Motor Cab\/Cycle Schemes\u201d vide No RT-11036\/09\/2020-MVL(pt-1) dated 01 June 2020 wherein it has been written that &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The person driving the Commercial Vehicle carrying the valid driving license \/IDP and a copy of license for renting motor cab (Form 3\/4) or for the motor cycle (Form 2) of respective scheme should not be insisted for any badge.<\/p>\n<p>b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cRent\u2013a-motorcycle scheme\u201d be implemented and licenses to the operators may be considered.<\/p>\n<p>c.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Further, two-wheeler with license under \u2018Rent-a-Motorcycle Scheme\u201d be allowed to drive across the States on payment of relevant taxes.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry vide SO 437(E) dated 12.06.1989 had notified guidelines for Rent-a-cab scheme and SO 375(E) at 12.05.1997 for the Rent-a-motorcycle Scheme, 1997.
