{"id":11654,"date":"2020-05-07T15:09:39","date_gmt":"2020-05-07T09:39:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/udaen.info\/?p=11654"},"modified":"2020-05-07T15:09:39","modified_gmt":"2020-05-07T09:39:39","slug":"ayush-ministry-launches-clinical-research-studies-on-use-of-ayurveda-as-preventive-curative-medicine-for-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/udaen.info\/?p=11654","title":{"rendered":"AYUSH Ministry launches clinical research studies on use of Ayurveda as preventive &#038; curative medicine for COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>AYUSH Ministry launches clinical research studies on use of Ayurveda as preventive &amp; curative medicine for COVID-19<\/h2>\n<div class=\"news-details-img\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive img-right\" src=\"http:\/\/newsonair.com\/writereaddata\/News_Pictures\/NAT\/2020\/May\/NPIC-202057124057.jpg\" \/>@moayush<\/div>\n<p>AYUSH Ministry in collaboration with the Health Ministry today launched the clinical research studies on use of Ayurveda as preventive<b>\u00a0<\/b>and add<b>&#8211;<\/b>on curative medicine for COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>The clinical trials would include both prophylactic and curative effects of Ashwagandha, Yashtimadhu, Guduchi with Pippali and a poly herbal formulation known as AYUSH-64.<\/p>\n<p>These studies will be done as a joint initiative of Ministry of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science and Technology through Council of Scientific &amp; Industrial Research (CSIR) with technical support of ICMR.<\/p>\n<p>AYUSH minister Shripad Naik and Health Minister Harsh Vardhan jointly launched the interdisciplinary study along with Secretary AYUSH , Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha.<\/p>\n<p>An Interdisciplinary Ayush Research and Development Task Force with a group of experts under Vice Chairman, University Grant Commission (UGC) , Dr Bhushan Patvardhan has also been set up to formulate and develop strategies for these AYUSH based clinical studies<b>.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The collaboration would also undertake population-based interventional studies on the impact of AYUSH based preventive medicines.<\/p>\n<p>Assessment of acceptance and usage of AYUSH advisories in prevention of COVID-19 through AYUSH Sanjivani App would also be done.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AYUSH Ministry launches clinical research studies on use of Ayurveda as preventive &amp; curative medicine for COVID-19 @moayush AYUSH Ministry in collaboration with the Health Ministry today launched the clinical research studies on use of Ayurveda as preventive\u00a0and add&#8211;on curative medicine for COVID-19.
