(<a href=\"https:\/\/pib.gov.in\/PressReleaseIframePage.aspx?PRID=1618049\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/pib.gov.in\/PressReleaseIframePage.aspx?PRID=1618049<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This Order implies that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In\u00a0<em><u>rural areas<\/u>, all shops<\/em>, except those in shopping malls are allowed to open.<\/li>\n<li>In\u00a0<em><u>urban areas<\/u>, all standalone shops, neighborhood shops &amp; shops in residential complexes are allowed to open.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>Shops in markets\/market complexes and shopping malls are\u00a0<em>not\u00a0<\/em>allowed to open.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is clarified that sale by\u00a0<em><u>e-commerce<\/u><\/em>\u00a0companies will continue to be permitted for\u00a0<em><u>essential goods only.<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is further clarified that\u00a0<em><u>sale of liquor<\/u><\/em>\u00a0and other items continues to be\u00a0<em><u>prohibited<\/u><\/em>\u00a0as specified in the National Directives for COVID-19 management.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>As specified in the consolidated revised guidelines, these shops will NOT BE PERMITTED TO OPEN in areas, whether rural or urban, which are declared as CONTAINMENT ZONES by respective States\/ UTs.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clarification on MHA order allowing Opening of Shops \u00a0PIB Delhi Ministry of Home Affairs issued an Order yesterday on amendments in the consolidated revised guidelines on lockdown measures to allow opening of shops.
