A high level advisory committee has been formed to bring Uttar Pradesh’s economy back on track due to Corona infection. On the instructions of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, a committee was formed under the chairmanship of former IAS Indu Kumar Pandey to improve the economy of the state and increase livelihood resources.
\nSince the last week of March, all commercial, industrial and economic establishments have been closed due to the lockdown in the state. This has caused a huge loss to the economy of the state, which is not easy to compensate. To deal with this situation, the Trivandra government has started working fast. The government had decided on Tuesday that a task force would be formed to deal with the weak economic conditions. Under this, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Pandey on Wednesday. The committee has been asked to report at the earliest.
\nThe committee will do this
\nThe committee will prepare a report to reduce losses and strengthen Uttarakhand’s economic system. It will also find out how much damage has been caused to the state’s economy by the lockdown and which sectors are most affected. The committee will also consider which areas will have to be given top priority for providing livelihood to the people.<\/p>\n
Committee member
\nPrincipal Secretary Industries Manisha Panwar, Secretary Finance Saujanya, Additional Secretary Finance Bhupesh Tiwari and Additional Secretary Planning Yogendra Yadav will be the nominated members in the committee. Additional Secretary Bhupesh Tiwari will be the Member Secretary.<\/p>\n
