The Union Home Ministry has issued revised new guidelines for all the states and union territories. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the lockdown 2.0 on Tuesday. While announcing the extension of lockdown till May 3, PM Modi said that all guidelines related to it will be issued on Wednesday.
\nStarting April 20, discounts on some services will begin. However, it will be up to the district administration to make these services accessible to the people. We are telling you what are the exemptions and what are the restrictions in the revised guidelines.<\/p>\n
Lockdown 2.0 revised guidelines
\nThere will be a discount on these services
\nBank branches and ATMs, IT vendors, banking correspondents and cash management agencies will continue to work for banking operations.
\nHospitals, nursing homes, clinics, dispensaries, medical stores and medical labs will remain open.
\nPathology labs, pharmaceutical companies will be open.
\nPost offices, LPG and petrol-diesel supplies will continue.
\nMedical emergency and special approval will be allowed to go to another state and another district.
\nAll activities related to farming will continue.
\nFarmers and agricultural laborers will be allowed to work related to farming.
\nAgricultural equipment and their repair shops will remain open.
\nThe activities of manufacture and distribution of fertilizers, seeds, pesticides will continue.
\nHarvesting machines will be allowed to go from one state to another.
\nMNREGA works have been allowed with social distance and face masks.
\nFour-wheeler and two-wheelers have been exempted in the emergency.
\nAll IT services will continue.
\nCorona research institutes will be open.
\nManufacturing units manufacturing healthcare packaging materials and raw materials will be operational.
\nConstruction of medical and health infrastructure, including ambulances, will continue.
\nShops and dhabas will remain open on the highway for truck repair. The administration of the State \/ Union Territory will determine the minimum distance.
\nAll those hotels, guesthouses and lodges will remain open in which people are staying due to lockdown.
\nGaushalas will be open.

Services starting 20 April
\nE-commerce companies providing essential goods.
\nGrocery and ration shops selling essential goods.
\nShops with fruit and vegetable carts and sanitary items.
\nDairy and milk booths, shops selling poultry, meat, fish and feed.
\nHome delivery of all these items will be the responsibility of the district administration.<\/p>\n

\nRestriction on these services will continue
\nWearing masks has been made mandatory. Homemade masks, dupattas or skirts can also be used.
\nInstructions have been given to keep wedding ceremonies and religious places closed.
\nSpitting will be fined.
\nAll educational and training institutions etc. will remain closed.
\nAll taxi (including auto, bicycle and rickshaw) services will remain closed.
\nCinema hall, mall, shopping \/ sports complex, gym, swimming pool, theater and bar etc. will remain closed.
\nPublic crowds will be completely banned at all religious places.
\nNo more than 20 persons will be allowed in case of funeral.
\nThe ban on political and sporting events will continue.
\nThere will be a complete ban on national and international air travel.
\nAll public transport and metro services including buses will remain closed.
\nThere will be a ban on moving from one district to another and from one state to another.
\nIn four wheelers, there will be only one person apart from the driver.
\nOnly two drivers can go on two-wheelers. Violators will be fined.
