Herds of elephants have stopped going to the forest range adjoining UP as soon as they find water in the Chilavali range of Rajaji Tiger Reserve Park in Haridwar. Now natural water is being provided to the elephants in the water hall in Mohand Beat of Chilavali range from the park administration.<\/p>\n

\nSome of the Chilavali range of Rajaji Tiger Reserve Park is bordered by the forests of UP. In this range, due to lack of water during the summer days, elephants and other wild animals used to quench their thirst by reaching the border of UP, but now other animals including elephants in the water hall in Mohand Beet of Chilavali range from the park administration. Plenty of natural water is being made available for this, after which the wild animals of this range have stopped going towards UP.<\/p>\n

Komal Singh, Wildlife Protector of Rajaji Tiger Reserve Park informed that 24 hours of natural water is being supplied through two inch pipes in this water hall at a cost of Rs 12 lakh. Success was achieved after a month’s hard work in the Chilawali range of the park, during the summer, the wild animals had to wander in search of water.<\/p>\n

In such a situation, providing water to all the wild animals of this range was a big challenge for the park administration. Park’s Wildlife Protector Komal Singh said that after a month’s hard work, it was successful to supply the natural water through pipes of several kilometers to two inches in the water hall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
