National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval has defended the Agneepath plan for the government’s appointment in the defense sector. He said that India has a large youth population. In such a situation, the average age of his army should not be large.

Doval has clearly stated in an interview to a news agency that the Agneepath scheme will not be withdrawn. He said that the country’s army needs technology-oriented youth today.

Condemning the violent protests against the scheme, he said that the youth aspirants who are going to join the army are preparing at their homes. The violent protesters are not actually candidates for recruitment in the army.

On the career side of Agneepath scheme, he said that there will be no family pressure on the Agniveers at the age of 25 to 26 years. They will have both the ability and the ability to choose other career options. Along with this, in the coming time, the economy of the country will also become 5 trillion dollars and industries will have special need of such young people.

He said that it has been discussed and discussed for years before the Agneepath scheme was brought. Several committees have given their opinion in its favor. The Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, is a leader who is ready to pay any political price in the interest of the nation. It has been possible to bring such a plan under his leadership.

The NSA said that during the Congress-led government in 2006, the Defense Ministry had sent a proposal related to the scheme to the Home Ministry.
