The Finance Ministry has asked the people not to take note of any rumors regarding this, as two more installments of 500-500 rupees will be added in the next two months. Along with this, the department has also asked the beneficiaries not to pay attention to any rumors. The ministry has said that they can withdraw money from ATMs or banks at their convenience. It is worth noting that the total number of accounts under PMJDY is 38.08 crore, of which 20.60 crore are female account holders. At the same time, till April 1, more than Rs 1.19 lakh crore was deposited in the PMJDY accounts.

Meanwhile, the state-run lender State Bank of India has told the beneficiaries that the Jan Dhan account holders should not heed rumors that the government will withdraw the money if they do not withdraw the money from the bank. Due to these rumors, a large number of people are withdrawing money in banks, in view of which SBI has given this information by tweeting.

In fact, the State Bank has the highest number of Jan Dhan accounts, due to which the branches of banks are getting crowded and violating the guidelines to maintain social distance to curb the corona virus.
