On the occasion of Vijayadashami festival, Lankapati Ravana was destroyed by an arrow of Lord Rama in the ground of Grastonganj on Friday. After this Rama set the effigy of Ravana on fire and the effigy got burnt. As soon as Ravana was killed, the whole area reverberated with the chants of Jai Shri Ram.
